Mandi Anyangwe is the visionary founder of CROWNGRID ENGINEERING LTD and an experienced energy systems professional specialising in renewable energy integration, decentralised power systems, and sustainable development. With over a decade of expertise spanning engineering, education, and policy analysis, Mandi uniquely bridges technical innovation with practical implementation to address energy poverty and climate transition challenges across Europe and Africa.

Currently undertaking doctoral research at Keele University, Mandi’s work focuses on enhancing microgrid resilience, advancing renewable energy adoption, and developing policy frameworks that support equitable energy access and environmental sustainability.​

Her career includes impactful roles as a Lecturer in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at institutions such as Aston University Engineering Academy, Make UK, Black Country & Marches Institute of Technology, and Coventry College, where she pioneered advanced curricula and workforce training aligned with clean energy priorities.

Mandi has also contributed to high profile projects with industry leaders including Jaguar Land Rover and EDF’s Hinckley Point B Nuclear Power Station, where she applied data driven analysis to optimise large scale energy systems.

She holds a BEng (Hons) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Aston University, UK, a Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering Education from Birmingham City University UK, MSc degrees in Renewable Energy Management (Coventry University, UK) and Sustainable Electrical Power (Brunel University,UK), and a Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership Practice from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
